How should Eid be celebrated?

You all know that Eid is celebrated after the end of fasting Islamic month, Ramadan; and you too know that Eid is also called "Festival of the Breaking the Fast". And on the first day after the month of Ramadan that is Sawwal, Eid is celebrated.
To know the first day of Sawwal, you can go upstairs on the last day of Ramadan and if you are able to see the moon; then congrats tomorrow is the first day of Sawwal and you are gonna to celebrate Eid al fitr just after a few hours.

What preparations should be done before Eid al fitr
A day before Eid al fitr you have to make a lot of preparations to make the tomorrow i.e. Eid is full of happiness. Here are some Important things that you should do before going to bed on the last day of Ramadan.
#1. Rost the vermicelli
You know Eid is full of sweetness and vermicelli is the heart of sweetness on the occasion of Eid. So, to make good vermicelli on the day of Eid you should roast it 1 day prior as a preparation of Eid al fitr.
And also, prepare for other food as well so that tomorrow i.e. on eid you will have time to enjoy with your family and friends.
#2. Iron your tunic (shirt)
As preparation for Eid you should iron your clothes, especially the tunic which you are going to wear on Eid. Tunic is considered as the best cloth to wear while offering salah.
And you know on the occasion of Eid, you will go to a mosque to offer eid salah. So, iron your tunic and other clothes to look your best, it is also a Sunnah. And arrange your accessories as well, like perfumes, watches, shoes, etc.
#3. Pray tahajjud
Tahajjud is also a very auspicious salah and it gives you more blessings from Allah. And on the day prior to Eid, praying tahajjud will be a great option to earn more sawabs (blessings) from Allah.
#4. Shop clothes and accessories for Eid
Shopping a day before Eid from the bottom of your heart for Eid celebration gives you more rizq (blessings in terms of wealth). So, go to the market with your loved ones like, parents, children, wife and buy them whatever they want.
You should definitely buy a tunic for Eid salah and other clothes for celebrations. And definitely buy perfumes, sleepers, wallets, watches, hijab for girls, belts, shoes and many more…
And please note that, if you are not able to spend a lot then don't worry, you can buy according to your budget like one shirt or pants. But at the end of the day Allah sees your intention that how you are celebrating with your family.
Note:- Please note that, buy perfume which is alcohol free,you can go with Itr (organic perfume). You can find it easily in the special Eid market, which usually takes place in the month of Ramadan.

How to celebrate Eid ul fitr 2022
Below are some thing that you should do on Eid ul fitr.
#1. Take bath followed by wearing tunic and go for an Eid morning prayer.
#2. After completing Eid salah hug people around you in mosque & outside.
#3. Return home from different route.
#4. Help poors while returning home. Do Zakah-al-fitr.
#5. Eid sweets and distribute sweets to your neighbours. Also give it to poors.
#6. Enjoy whole day with your family in your way.
#7. Try to make your enemy the friend on this auspicious day.
#8. Forget everybody’s wrong deeds and forgive them.
#9. Ask anything you want from Allah the almighty.
#10. Be far away from wrong deeds.
#11. Decorate your house.
#12. Make meets (Halal)
#13. Give gifts to your family, neighbours, relatives and poors.
Mind the above written things, these things are very important to make your eid special. Do every possible good thing. Be far away from wrong deeds. So, now let’s see what must be done on the occasion of Eid which can take you to Jannah.
#1. Pray Eid morning salah/namaz/prayer.
Eid prayer is a very important prayer and comes once a year, everybody should offer this prayer. This Eid prayer is a Wajib salah, and you should not leave it without a special/important reason.
So, in order to receive full support, blessings, wealth (all kind of) from Allah. Eid special namaz is always offered in the morning depending on mosques at a specific time. Before offering eid morning namaz you should know some things, which are as follows..
Take a bath
Wear a tunic; don’t wear a half shirt or pants.
Perform wudu.
Wear islamic cap.
Wear non-alcoholic perfume.
And you are good to go to the mosque for prayer.
After praying, come home back and perform Zakah-al-fitr (giving money to needy or any needed things like foods, clothes etc), go to relatives and neighbours home, maintain good relations, eat and distribute vermicelli. In addition to this, after the end of salah wish people by saying “Eid mubarak”, it is important; and also hug others by wishing them with “Eid Mubarak”.
And for women
Take a bath
Wear good and pure clothes which cover your full body.
Pray chasht salah at home.
Wear a non-alcoholic perfume.
Cook delicious foods including meats and vermicelli.
#2. Perform Zakah-al-fitr
It is very important as Eid salah, without eid zakah-al-fitr your eid will not be completed. If you don’t know what is zakah-al-fitr, let me tell you. Zakah-al-fitr is basically refers to helping poors or needy people.
It means you have to provide clothes, foods, money, etcetera to them depending upon your zakah amount, it may vary people-to-people but anybody having money more than they need should be contributed in zakah-al-fitr. You can calculate your zakah money by using some online zakah calculator.
Haidth of zakah:- Our prophet muhammad have said that “giving your wealth (here money and love and refers to charity) to whome who need it will wipe away sins just as water extinguishes fire”.
So, heeds the prophet's words and give zakah (charity) to needy ones. Allah will pay you with better in place of that, and in addition to this, charity washes out your sins.

#3. Eat sweets, share sweets, specially vermicelli
Eid is a festival of sweets and sweet people; so, eat, share and speak sweet to get full blessings of Allah and people around you, make them all happy. And also share or distribute sweets with poor people who have no sweets on their eid.
We all know that Eid is a day of vermicelli and the muslims around the globe make vermicelli and enjoy their day. Vermicelli has become the ritual of eid, without it eid is faded. But some people who don’t have money to buy vermicelli or sweets also have the right to enjoy the eid.
And if they are not able to buy vermicelli and enjoy their eid; then it’s our duty to help them by giving them zakah. So, for the sake of Allah, please help needy people; they really need it.. And you will get the best in your hand by Allah in any other way back.
#4. Give gifts to your juniors/young ones and take from the elders!
Gifts are a very important part of Eid-ul-fitr and it increases the love between the members of the family; so, you should give some special gifts to your juniors and take some from the elders.
These special gifts of eid are called “eidi”, you can give money, poems, wishing cards, clothes, gadgets, jobs, vehicles etcetera as eidi. Kindly note that if someone comes to your house to eat vermicelli, then it’s your duty to give eidi to him/her.
Pro:- If guests come to your house, you can simply give them money as eid as it is very easy to give some money in hand. And if you go to someone’s house you can also give them money.
Note:- Young ones means children of yours and of other family members, children of neighbours, younger siblings, wife and other young ones in relation.
#5. Don’t do fasting on Eid-ul-fitr
Some people think you should do fasting on Eid day, it is totally a myth and should not be practised. Eid is the day to enjoy to fullest with your family, friends and neighbours.
We don’t fast on Eid day because we are celebrating the end of fasting, so that’s the reason behind it. Kindly note that wake up before sunrise and break you fast with dates (fruit).
“Sometimes we end the fast of ramadan by eating odd numbers of date, usually people eats 1, 3 or 5 dates; and ends the months of ramadan, the fasting month just before the sunrise of Eid-ul-fitr”
#6. Visit graves of your ancestors
One should visit their ancestors' graves frequently, usually once a week or month depending upon the free time they have. It washes away the sins of their ancestors, if any. Please note that Ancestors may refer to parents as well, so you can visit anyone's grave who is no more in the world.
#7. Celebrate the rest day with family
So, after completing all the rituals, you have to celebrate the rest of the auspicious day of Eid to the fullest with your family. On the day of Eid you have to celebrate the day according to you, you should do all those things which you love to do.
Please note that giving time to your family and celebrating the day with them is very important as spending time with them gives you more blessings from Allah.
